Autumn deer
They are here again!
We see each other every day, Mazy, me & the deer. They are both in the meadow in front, and in the meadow behind our house. And sometimes also in our garden. In summer they are less visible, I suspect they are then in the nature reserve further away. But now that ‘natural’ grass is a bit scarcer and farmers have sown tender young grass, they are ubiquitous. Photographing them, however, is not so easy: after all, I am always out and about with Mazy. After a few spirited chases, Mazy seems to have resigned herself to the fact that deer are not to be herded and just plays with her ball. Hopefully, the deer will soon learn that Mazy is neither a wolf nor a threat.
